Ken Cornish organized a perfect Golf trip in September for a blissful and hot 5 days in Yakima Eastern Washington. Beautiful blue sky everyday warm and very scenic with the mountains, desert valley, rivers and orchards. Apple Green Golf course is just fantastic and a real pleasure just to be on it with all its marvellous beauty not to mention the free container of apples on the 1st tee.
The hotel was ideal for us and a great price plus a big breakfast every day, free basket of oranges and free cookies in the evening and coffee. The staff in the hotel were wonderful to everyone. Each night we would sit around in our garden chairs in front of the hotel for chit chat and happy hour. Some of our members went of shopping or to the local casino or visit some restaurants from the past like The Black Angus Steak House, and Sea Galley for early bird Dinner.
Congratulations to our tournament winners. We can hardly wait till next year. Thanks Ken for all your efforts and great deals you got for us all and making our holiday so successful and enjoyable.
